Cpl Healthcare is delighted to announce that we are working with one of Ireland's largest and most respected organisations in the disability sector. Due to continued growth, our client is currently recruiting Residential Support Workers to join their dedicated teams in Enniscorthy, Wexford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking service and make a real difference by empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives in a high-quality residential setting, in line with HIQA National Standards.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will support service users with all aspects of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion within their home and local community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Empower service users to live independent lives within their residential home and community
2. Transport service users to support access to daily living activities, appointments, and social opportunities
3. Participate in household duties such as cooking, laundry, general cleaning, and shopping
4. Maintain professional communication and positive working relationships with colleagues
5. Promote safe working practices and report hazards, incidents, or concerns promptly
6. Actively engage in team meetings, supervision, training, and team events
7. Deliver an excellent standard of person-centred care at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

8. QQI Level 5 Major Award (minimum of 8 modules completed) in a relevant healthcare discipline
9. Applicants must be 18 years or older
10. Full clean manual driving licence and access to own transport
11. Excellent command of spoken and written English
12. Knowledge of HIQA standards
13. Work or student experience in social care or a related sector

This is a rewarding role for passionate individuals who are committed to supporting people to live independent, meaningful lives within their community.

The Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will play a key role in empowering service users to actively participate in their community while supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.

Key Responsibilities

22. Support and empower service users to live independent lives in their home and local community
23. Assist in the development, implementation, and review of individual person-centred plans
24. Build and maintain community partnerships to promote active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes
25. Transport service users to access community-based activities and services
26. Act as a Key Worker, including weekly administration, advocacy, liaising with families, and supporting person-centred planning
27. Promote dignity, choice, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

28. A relevant QQI qualification (minimum Level 5) in Healthcare or a related discipline
29. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or within a relevant sector
30. Be 18 years of age or older
31. A full clean manual driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes
32. Excellent spoken and written English
33. A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to care
