Role

* As Receptionist, you will provide reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out
* Assist with and complete audits, as required
* Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
* Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
* Keep Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors fully aware of relevant feedback from guests and other departments
* Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
* Attend appropriate training courses when required and participate in day/night training and development efforts
* Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other product knowledge
* Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
* Follow correct procedures regarding acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with hotel policy
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
* Operate front of house equipment and property management systems in line with policies
* Follow company brand standards and assist other departments as necessary


Requirements / Qualifications

* Passionate and willing to learn
* Positive attitude, friendly and guest-focused
* Team player with good organisational and time management skills
* Resilient, creative, able to multitask and work under pressure
* Willingness to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends
* Excellent standards and competent level of IT proficiency
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences consistently
