Accounting Portfolio Manager
The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, requesting records, discussing deadline dates, and addressing client queries. This includes scheduling and managing workflows efficiently.
Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
* Accounts Preparation: Prepare and review accounts on Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Xero Training: Train clients and other staff on Xero as required, promoting efficient use of the platform.
* Tax Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and within deadlines.
Requirements:
* Xero Proficiency: Proficient in Xero and experience with Hubdoc/Dext is preferred.
* Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Jr. Staff Review: Reviewing the work of junior staff is preferable but not essential, with training provided for growth opportunities.
* Practice Environment Experience: Possess experience working in a practice environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a team player mentality are essential for success in this role.
