Summary
The Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Financial Controller, will use strong communication and numerical skills to ensure accurate, timely preparation of accounts.
The Role
The Financial Account Assistant plays a crucial supporting role within the finance department, assisting with day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
This is a 3 month fixed term position with potential to go permanent for the right candidate
Your Key Responsibilities
* Timely delivery of reports including the collection, preparation and maintenance and dissemination of all data
* Analysis of a variety of data including analysis of traceability reports on ERP system.
* Review accuracy of costings on ERP system
* Monitoring of stock usages on ERP system
* Investigating & solve issues as they arise on ERP system.
* Statistical work based in Excel including generating production Key Performance Indicators, production statistics, and trend analysis
* Presentation and review of data using charts, graphs and other tools
* Timely delivery of reports including the collection, preparation and maintenance and dissemination of all data
* Actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives within the company
* The role will involve liaising with staff in various departments.
The Ideal Candidate
* Degree qualification in business or computers is desired
* Excellent numerical and mathematical skills
* Excellent IT skills, a high level of Excel is essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with numbers
* Experience of ERP and Lean Systems will be an advantage
* Fluency of English both written and verbal
* Proven experience in a Finance or similar role is desired
