Supervise catering staff, including chefs, catering assistants, and front-of-house teams
Support staff training, induction, and development
Assist with staff rotas, attendance, and cover arrangements

Ensure staff comply with company policies, uniform standards, and behaviour expectations
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
Carry out and support daily, weekly, and monthly checks
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety documentation
Support audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Stock, Cost Control & Administration
Assist with stock ordering, receiving, and storage
Monitor food waste and support cost-control initiatives
Support budget management and achieve agreed financial targets
Complete administrative tasks such as reports, allergen records, and service logs
Customer & Client Relations
Act as a key point of contact for corporate clients and internal stakeholders
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
Gather feedback and support continuous improvement of services
Represent the catering team in a professional, customer-focused manner
Essential
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in corporate, contract, or hospitality catering
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety
Experience supervising or leading teams
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional corporate environment
Good organisational and time-management skills
Desirable
Catering or hospitality qualification
Experience in contract catering or large-scale operations
Knowledge of dietary requirements, allergens, and nutrition
Strong financial and stock control experience
