As a Product Owner, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world's payments ecosystemThe purpose of the Product Owner role is: Accountable for managing and communicating the Merchant Fraud Management product requirements and strategy to their stakeholders, customers, and scrum team(s).
Responsible for prioritizing the product backlog, defining acceptance criteria, and vertically slicing user stories and epics to maximize the value of their team's development efforts.
Participates in all Agile activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint review.
Make decisions about product features and is available to assist the scrum team, stakeholders, and customers with product questions.
Responsibilities and daily activities Communicates the product requirements to all stakeholders, customers, and agile team(s).
Prioritizes the backlog to maximize the value of the team's development.
Performs backlog maintenance regularly and consistently.
Clarifies user story requirements and answers team(s) questions.
Creates clear and testable acceptance criteria for user stories and epics.
Participates in Scrum team meetings (grooming, planning, review, retrospectives, etc.).
Ensures user stories are small enough to be completed in a single sprint.
Ensures that all epics have quantifiable business value.
Experiments with the team to constantly improve processes and quality.
Shares product expertise with the agile team(s), stakeholders, and customers.
Maximizes the business value with a focus on high-quality working software.
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in software development.
Four years of related work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand and communicate business value to their team(s), stakeholders, and customers.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Excellent facilitation, accountability, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to operate as a change agent, influence and drive improvements at all levels.
