Fota Island Resort is recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager capable of managing a busy beverage operation including conference and banqueting. They will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining inventory, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

What we are looking for:
* Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a hotel or busy bar setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent knowledge of bar operations, including menu development, cocktail preparation, wine selection and industry trends
* Strong customer service skills
* Good financial understanding, including budgeting and stock control
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the bar outlets, ensuring smooth and efficient service
* Ensure compliance with all alcohol licensing laws and regulations.
* Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff
* Create and maintain a high-quality beverage menu, including signature cocktails
* Monitor inventory and place orders to maintain stock levels
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Drive revenue through promotions, events, and upselling techniques
* Handle customer queries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the bar area
* Work closely with the F&B Director and Hotel Management team
