Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the organisation, while driving operational excellence and maintaining a strong control environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead group-wide financial reporting and consolidation
* Mentor and develop a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
* Manage month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting
* Oversee statutory audits, tax compliance, and financial statements
* Monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements
* Liaise with banking partners and ensure covenant compliance
* Maintain clean balance sheets with strong governance and controls
* Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies
* Deliver clear insights to internal and external stakeholders
* Support strategic initiatives and respond to ad hoc requests
About the person
* Qualified Accountant with min 6 years PQE
* Strong expertise in financial reporting and compliance
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to lead teams and drive results
