Food Truck Manager – Festivals & Events (Full-Time)Overview We are Home Dogs, a hot dog food truck built in a 1984 Chevrolet Step Van from Texas, USA.
We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Food Truck Manager to run our truck across large festivals and smaller private / corporate events throughout the year and across the country.
This is a senior, practical role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can take full ownership of a unit, and is comfortable leading teams on the ground.
You will be responsible for operations, people, stock, standards, and smooth delivery at every event, representing the brand professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Events-Take full operational responsibility for the food truck at festivals and events-Set up, trade, and close down the unit efficiently and safely-Adapt quickly to different event formats, volumes, layouts, and challenges-Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are met at all times Driving & Logistics-If possible, drive the food truck to and from events (full clean driving licence required)-Manage load-in / load-out, positioning, and coordination with event organisers-Oversee equipment, energy, water, and waste requirements Stock & Ordering-Manage stock levels before, during, and after events-Place orders, track usage, minimise waste, and control costs-Keep accurate stock and delivery records-Team Management-Recruit, train, schedule, and manage event staff-Lead teams on busy festival shifts under pressure-Maintain high standards of service, speed, cleanliness, and professionalism-Handle performance issues, disciplinaries, and terminations when required Admin & Reporting-Event reporting (sales, staffing, issues, learnings)-Liaise with ownership on planning, improvements, and upcoming events Requirements Full, clean driving licence Proven experience in food service, hospitality, or food trucks Strong leadership and people-management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability Comfortable working longer days, weekends, and festival schedules Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing situations Role Details Position: Full-time Location: HQ based in Dublin 7, with on-site at festivals and events Schedule: Variable (including weekends and peak event periods)Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: €35,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Company pension Employee discount Flexitime Food allowance Sick pay Work Location: Hybrid remote in Arbour Hill, Dublin, CO.
