Overview Biopharma Production Specialist (m/f/x) Denmark & Iceland at Avantor.
This is a remote-based role within the Nordics (preferably Denmark).
Territory: Nordics (mainly Denmark and Iceland).
Department: Commercial / Sales.
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager – Northern Europe.
Responsibilities Generate growth opportunities mainly in Denmark and Iceland with existing and new customers.
Create sustainable and profitable partnerships with customers in the biopharmaceutical industry.
The BPS is responsible for sales to the assigned territory, with a focus on positioning the Business Unit as the primary supplier to biopharmaceutical customers engaged in mammalian and microbial-based manufacture, Vaccines, Cell & Gene Therapy, and Peptides.
Understand the market, customer needs and challenges; use Avantor's portfolio of Biopharma products and services to deliver meaningful solutions.
Be a go-getter who values ROI gained by developing key stakeholder relationships—driving profitability of Avantor's Bio Pharma business.
Willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region.
Qualifications BSc/BA degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical/Genetic Engineering degree or other life sciences related degree At least 3 years sales experience within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing or related life sciences industry Strong understanding of bioprocessing and drug formulation workflows.
Familiarity with GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards for excipients and single-use systems.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets Good knowledge of office applications (mainly Power Point, Excel, and Word)Ability to recognize need for change and employ appropriate strategies to facilitate change Ability to be flexible in fast-changing environment and to work well under pressure Self-motivated team player and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Full Driver's License Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish) is a strong advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region.
