Circet Ireland is seeking an experienced HSEQT Advisor to support our projects and ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environment Management systems.
Location and Coverage
This role covers projects across the Leinster Region and involves supporting site teams and managers in hazard recognition, risk minimization, and maintaining high HSEQT standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain the HSEQT Management System aligned with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
2. Ensure compliance with HSEQT statutory duties and legal obligations.
3. Report on management system performance and recommend improvements.
4. Promote customer requirements and support the HSEQT strategy for continuous improvement.
5. Monitor and evaluate HSEQT performance across the region, working with senior management.
6. Provide competent advice on HSEQT matters to staff and management.
7. Ensure all worksites comply with legal HSEQT obligations.
8. Develop and implement HSEQT initiatives, targets, objectives, and KPIs.
9. Prepare Construction Stage Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents, Emergency Response Plans, etc.
10. Review and approve subcontractor works, conduct site audits and inspections, and undertake external audits for ISO standards.
11. Assist with Occupational Health issues and conduct internal training sessions.
12. Maintain incident records, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
13. Monitor working hours to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
14. Drive continuous improvement and promote best practices.
Skills & Experience
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* Degree qualification or equivalent.
* Extensive experience in civil engineering or telecommunications sectors.
* Effective communication and reporting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* CSCS Card.
* Passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality.
