Job Description: Part time - Junior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Galway Office/On-site/WFH
This is an opportunity to join a growing Construction Contractor based in Salthill.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Contracts/Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
* Valuations: Preparation and submission of monthly valuations, including variations and final accounts.
* Tendering: Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and evaluation of subcontractor quotations.
* Procurement: Prepare a procurement schedule. (Materials, equipment & Subcontractor)
* Site Work: Monthly site visits for valuations.
Key Requirements
* Experience:
* Ideally 1+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction sectors but will consider graduates with a willing attitude and drive.
* Education: Degree in related field.
* Skills:
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in both office and site environments.
* Technical Knowledge:
* Familiarity with Irish construction standards, contracts, and regulations.
* Experience in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
