The Validation Control Engineer plays a pivotal role in safeguarding internal and external user data by scrutinizing and validating network permissions, identity frameworks, and access privileges granted to the organization.
Main responsibilities include:
* Designing and reviewing network, cloud, and identity access control solutions with security architects and engineers.
* Conducting thorough network, access, and identity audits as part of a team.
* Gathering audit requirements from stakeholders, developing an audit plan, and initiating the process.
* Automating audit capabilities wherever feasible.
To be successful, candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, GRC, or a closely related field, familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, hands-on cloud security experience with AWS and/or GCP, and proficiency in automating security and compliance checks at scale using Python and cloud SDKs.
