Payroll Implementation Consultant – Ireland
We’re hiring on behalf of a client from Brabers, a forward-thinking leader in cloud-based payroll technology. Their solution is a next-generation payroll calculation engine that continuously recalculates payroll in real time, instantly updating results as inputs change.
With SOC1 compliance, advanced anomaly detection, and a powerful dashboard, this platform is designed to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and improve accuracy. Built to meet the demands of modern businesses, it’s already being rolled out globally, with significant expansion planned through 2025.
To support this ambitious growth, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Implementation Consultant with deep knowledge of the Irish payroll landscape to join the team and lead functional implementations in Ireland.
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll take charge of end-to-end functional consulting activities during payroll implementation projects. You’ll work directly with clients to capture requirements, configure the solution in line with best practices, and ensure a successful rollout.
This is a remote, client-facing role requiring excellent communication, strong functional payroll knowledge (Ireland), and implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary functional lead during project kick-offs and requirements-gathering sessions.
* Collaborate with clients to capture payroll configuration requirements and complete documentation.
* Identify deviations from product standards and propose solutions.
* Work closely with the product team to configure the payroll system based on client needs.
* Validate the payroll setup and integrations during all testing phases.
* Conduct data validations within the payroll system.
* Coordinate issue resolution across relevant internal and client teams.
* Contribute to project plans and timelines.
* Support data mapping, integration troubleshooting, and resolution of data-related issues.
* Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parallel testing activities.
* Define workarounds where needed and oversee implementation.
* Facilitate knowledge transfer to support and operational payroll teams post-go-live.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within a payroll software or payroll outsourcing environment.
* In-depth understanding of Irish payroll processes, legislation, and compliance requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in managing the Irish payroll implementation lifecycle.
* Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
* Proven ability to gather, document, and manage client requirements.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
* Confident managing stakeholders across all levels of business.
* Capable of evaluating and proposing alternative solutions based on feasibility and cost.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
