Job Title: Temporary Payroll Manager Location: Hybrid - Kildare Contract: 3-Month Fixed Term Start Date: Immediate FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a hybrid role based in Kildare, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation during a key transition period. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full payroll function while reviewing and streamlining current payroll processes. We're looking for someone with a strong background in payroll who can bring fresh insight and operational improvements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and internal controls Review current payroll systems and procedures to identify efficiencies and recommend improvements Ensure accurate processing of statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI, USC) and employee benefits Address payroll queries and liaise with internal departments and external providers Maintain GDPR-compliant payroll records and documentation Prepare payroll reports and ensure timely submissions to Revenue Support the finance and HR teams during the transition period Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in a payroll management role, ideally in a medium-to-large organisation In-depth knowledge of Irish payroll legislation Demonstrated experience reviewing and improving payroll systems and processes Strong IT and systems skills, including payroll software and MS Excel Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment Skills: payroll manager payroll IPASS Benefits: Work From Home
