Project Manager (Construction) – Cahir – Hybrid
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team to lead the planning and delivery of construction contracts across diverse projects.
This role is key to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards — all while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of assigned projects, overseeing construction activities, methods, design, and issue resolution.
Lead design management and reviews on design-and-build projects where required.
Support Site Managers in managing subcontractors, including selection, performance reviews, and ongoing development.
Oversee labour and trade allocation (both employed and subcontracted), ensuring resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively.
Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance, addressing issues proactively and keeping the project team informed.
Ensure objectives are properly planned and implemented on site, attending audit meetings as needed.
Requirements
Over 5 years' experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to workload.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to engage across all levels internally and externally.
