We are seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant, as part of the People Development Team, within Human Resources (HR). This post will support and enhance a number of key operational HR initiatives, to enable the achievement of the HR Department’s objectives in line with the University’s Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Head of People Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, and enhancement, of the delivery of a broad range of learning and development services.
The overall purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and support HR initiatives such as learning and development courses, career development supports and outputs from Training Needs Analysis. The primary focus of the role is to support the administration of the delivery of the learning and development offerings provided for all categories of Maynooth University staff. The postholder will be responsible for the scheduling, rollout, promotion, recording and support of these blended learning initiatives, dealing with facilitators and staff.
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships. They will demonstrate a high level of organisational skills with an ability to deal with high volumes of converging activities.
Salary
Executive Assistant (2025): €32,030 – €48,430 p.a. (13 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
