Control Systems Engineer - Cork The Company: Our client has been in business for over 30 years and in that time has become a market leader in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of air conditioning and ventilation systems. They manufacture a variety of systems from air handling units, rooftop ventilation, air-cooling, and close control systems to name just a few. They have a dynamic and an ever-expanding, ambitious workforce of over 150 and a turnover in the billions! As a result of their ongoing success, they seek to add a Control Systems Engineer to their team in Cork, offering a strong package, a secure work environment, and career development opportunities! The Role: The successful candidate will be site-based in Cork and will have the following duties, including but not limited to: Designing and developing the control logic- programming PLCs using Carel software. Collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to define system behaviour. Contributing to test planning and supporting data acquisition and analysis for control validation. Assisting with testing in lab and refining PLC programs based on results. Assisting with documentation, version control and handover to production where needed. The Person: We are looking to speak to candidates from the following backgrounds: Previous experience programming PLCs and Control Systems is an essential requirement for the role. Automation and Control experience from HVAC is extremely advantageous but experience from other sectors will also be seriously considered. Prior experience of using Carel software is very beneficial. The Package: Salary of €55,000 - €80,000 (Heavily dependent on experience/background) Pension 25 Days Holiday!
