Family Support Specialist
This position involves working directly with Ukrainian young people and their families who are experiencing difficulties related to trauma, substance use, and/or mental health.
About the Role:
The Family Support Specialist will provide key working, case management, and care planning support to clients in relation to their difficulties. This includes identifying, engaging, and working directly with clients, developing strategic partnerships with other agencies, creating avenues for therapeutic and practical support.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To identify engage work directly with Ukrainian young people aged 12-24 who are experiencing problems due to trauma substance use or mental health issues as well as supporting the families of these individuals.
2. To develop formal assessments facilitate therapeutic groups if necessary providing a holistic approach that considers family culture displacement peer group gender sexuality etc.
3.
