HSE Officer - Power & Energy, UtilitiesLocation: Clondalkin, DublinEmployment Status: Permanent, StaffRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused HSE Officer to join a critical utilities hard services maintenance and team at a large, high-availability data centre energy facility in Dublin.This is a site-based role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Environmental, Health and Safety across all on-site operations. The HSE Officer will work closely with site leadership and a confidential client to ensure full compliance with site-specific HSE requirements, relevant legislation, and recognised management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the highest standards of Environmental, Health & Safety practices on siteCoordinate HSE activities to drive sustained and continuous improvementSupport the application of minimum HSE requirements and site safety standardsFacilitate compliance with Incident / Accident Management systems, including investigations and corrective actionsPromote and embed a strong, positive safety culture across site teamsAttend and contribute to monthly safety and stakeholder meetingsCollaborate with internal risk, assurance and compliance functionsEnsure all HSE actions are assigned, tracked, completed and closed out within the designated reporting systemsFacilitate monthly site HSE forums and support HSE representativesSupport operations teams in the review, approval and continuous improvement of RAMS for internal teams and suppliersProactively identify non-routine tasks and ensure comprehensive risk assessments are completedSupport internal and external HSE audit programmes and compliance requirementsShare incident learnings and best practice across the wider site networkMaintain and apply all relevant HSE policies, procedures and systemsEnsure compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislationMonitor contractor and supplier activities to ensure adherence to site procedures and legal requirementsManage training and re-training requirements and maintain a site-specific training matrixMonitor and audit Permit to Work systemsReview site risk profiles using incident trends and available data, supporting action planning with operational teamsSupport operational teams with safety management requirements and provide competent HSE adviceBuild and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including senior managers, site leadership, safety representatives and external bodiesActively support continuous improvement and HSE-related projectsEssentialQualifications & ExperienceNEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)DesirableExperience working with high-pressure gas installationsExperience with electrical HV systemsAuditor training, Managing Change and/or Risk Management experienceSend your CV and application in confidence to;SkillsNEBOSH utilities Gas safety HSEBenefitsNegotiable See Description
