The Job Details:

The Business Development Lead will drive our business development strategies, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and business development within the technology industry.

This position will lead and manage a team of Technical Solutions Consultants, ensuring delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.


Responsibilities:

1. Direct/Manage/Supervise identifying, evaluating, and pursuing new partnerships and business opportunities that deliver long-term value and fuel the company's growth.
2. Drive the organization's growth by building strategic relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and enhancing the organization's market presence.
3. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
4. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
5. Work closely with the sales team to align business development strategies with sales initiatives.
6. Leverage analysis of markets and competitive intelligence to define growth strategies.
7. Identify potential merger and acquisition targets that fit the company's broader strategic goals.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to inform business development strategies.
9. Extensive business knowledge with comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area.


Requirements:

1. Requires a bachelor's (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
2. Extensive experience in professional services/consulting, with a proven track record of success in program development and growth.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, manage, and supervise a team of consultants.
4. Understands ERP functionalities and experience advising about unique value propositions of cloud-based ERP solutions.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business development plans.
7. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
8. Ability to analyze data and leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making.
9. Proficiency in proposal development and presentation techniques.


Desired Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of the latest technology trends and advancements, with specific preferred experience in Workday environment, modules, tools.
2. Experience working with understanding requirements of clients in and/or existing network in higher education environment.
