Chief Financial Officer – Ireland (Global Supply Chain | Hybrid)

Our client operates a Global Distribution & Supply Chain Centre in Dublin, employing c.200 people and supporting global logistics operations. They are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial strategy and governance within a complex, international supply chain environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Global VP Executive and working closely with the Group CFO, this role is a key strategic partner to the business. You will support global supply chain transformation, inventory and warehouse optimisation, and operational efficiency while ensuring robust financial control and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial, administrative, tax, and risk management activities in Ireland
Act as a strategic finance partner to global supply chain leadership
Drive budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and performance reporting
Oversee cash flow, billing, collections, and period-end closings
Ensure trade compliance, internal controls, and regulatory adherence
Deliver clear, insightful financial reporting to senior stakeholders
Lead, develop, and manage a finance team of 16 - 20
Key Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) is a must have qualification.
Strong experience in supply chain, logistics, or retail distribution finance preferred
Strategic thinker with the ability to manage large complex finance teams
Proven leadership within large, complex international organisations
Excellent FP&A and accounting expertise (P&L & Balance Sheet)
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Power BI is necessary
In office availability 3 days per week | city centre based
Fluent English necessary, (Italian, French or Spanish an advantage)
