Key Responsibilities
Complete the full external wall insulation (EWI) process, including:
– Surface prep and levelling
– EPS or mineral wool board fitting
– Beading, meshing, and base coats
– Acrylic, silicone, or dash render finishes
Follow all system-specific guidelines
Execute all detailing correctly (e.g. window reveals, expansion joints)
Ensure snag-free finishes across all stages of work
Follow SEAI and NSAI requirements on every installation
Cooperate with quality inspections and audits
Submit required documentation (photos, checklists, sign-offs)
Ensure all crew have valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling
Provide own PPE, scaffolding/access equipment, and follow site risk assessments
Report safety incidents, near misses, or hazards promptly
Communicate clearly with Churchfield Site Supervisors and Project Managers
Minimise disruption when working on occupied homes
Ensure your crew presents professionally and keeps a clean site
Respond to feedback, snag lists, or rework requests respectfully
Skills and Requirements
Proven experience installing EWI systems (min. 2+ years)
Familiarity with certified systems and SEAI Codes of Practice
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling for all team members
Your own tools, transport, PPE, and liability insurance
Ability to complete jobs to a high standard with minimal supervision
Strong communication and a cooperative mindset

Professional conduct on live, occupied sites
Timely updates on material needs or site issues
Full readiness for audits, supervisor spot checks, or client feedback
Location: Based in Mayo with occasional need to travel throughout Connacht

Engagement Terms
This is a contractor role, with projects, location, and project rates agreed separately per job.
Ongoing engagement depends on performance, audit outcomes, availability, and compliance with Churchfield Home Services' standards.
Contractors may be invited to take on additional retrofit projects (e.g. attic insulation) if suitably qualified.
