Collaborative Design Role: Senior BIM Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic design and engineering team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to support project goals.
* Lead and facilitate weekly model coordination meetings.
* Detect and report model clashes using BIM coordination tools.
* Oversee incoming and shared models, ensuring accuracy and compatibility.
* Generate visual content such as renders and technical drawings for reporting purposes.
* Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems within the BIM environment.
* Deliver as-built documentation and asset information models.
* Support both live and tender projects with BIM input.
* Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and quality protocols.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks.
* Strong background in mechanical or electrical services coordination.
* Proficient in BIM software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Proven track record of resolving coordination issues efficiently.
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of producing COBie and Asset Information Models.
* Experience producing AutoCAD schematics and 3D visual content.
* Familiarity with working from point cloud data is advantageous.
* Background in mechanical/electrical trades is a plus.
