The group has experienced a significant growth in revenue, profits and employees in recent years across all three business units.Williaam Cox Limited have a fantastic opportunity for anInternal Sales Executiveto join the 'Plastic Distribution' division.The purpose of this role is to be a part of a dynamic sales team, contributing to departmental targets and managing key account. The Internal Sales Executive will report to the Head of Distribution.Principle Accountabilities:Sales & Customer SupportAct as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and emailPrepare and issue accurate quotations for plastic productsConvert enquiries into orders by understanding customer requirements and offering suitable solutionsProcess sales orders efficiently and accurately on the ERP systemSupport external sales representatives with pricing, lead follow-up, and account administrationWork well as part of a busy sales teamMaintain a good working knowledge of the product portfolioAccount ManagementMaintain and develop relationships with existing customersProactively follow up on quotes and repeat business opportunitiesIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the plastics product rangeHandle customer queries, delivery updates, and after-sales supportCoordination & AdministrationLiaise with the warehouse to ensure efficient delivery to ensure we meet our customers' expectationsMaintain regular contact with customers on delivery runsMonitor order progress and communicate proactively with customersMaintain accurate customer records, pricing, and product dataAssist with sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline trackingCompliance & QualityEnsure pricing and contracts comply with company policiesAdhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental proceduresSupport sustainability initiatives (e.g. recycled materials, waste reduction where applicable)Person Specification:EssentialPrevious experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales administrationStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailProficient in MS Office and CRM/ERP systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDesirableExperience in plastics, manufacturing, packaging, construction materials, or technical salesUnderstanding of plastic materials, grades, or production processesExperience working with pricing structures, margins, and volume discountsPersonal AttributesCustomer-focused and commercially awareProactive and results-drivenStrong team player with the ability to work independentlyOrganised, reliable, and professionalWilliaam Cox is an equal opportunities employer.
