Job description
We're currently recruiting for a Pensions and HR Clerical Officer to join a busy HR department on a temporary, week-to-week basis. This role is based in Letterkenny and offers 35 hours per week with an hourly rate of €. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of HR Operations & Pensions Officer .
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic, public-sector environment.
Essential Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
1. At least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (Higher, Ordinary, Applied or Vocational Programmes), or equivalent
2. A full award at QQI Level 5 or higher
3. Relevant work experience that demonstrates equivalent skills and expertise
Highly Desirable Experience:
4. Previous work in finance, HR, or other administrative roles
5. Knowledge of GDPR legislation
6. Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially Outlook, Word, Excel, Mail Merge, and database management
7. Experience working to tight deadlines and meeting/exceeding targets
8. Verifying data against internal and external sources
9. Experience in project planning and improving workflow through ICT
10. Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and timely decision-making
11. A flexible and adaptable approach to departmental needs
