Co-operative Housing Ireland is the national organisation representing, promoting and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since our foundation in 1973, we have delivered over 6,000 homes through social rented, shared ownership and homeownership co-operatives. As an Approved Housing Body (AHB), we work with a wide range of partners, including local authorities, Government, developers, aspiring homeowners and tenants. We currently manage more than 5,000 homes across the country.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Data Analyst will act as CHI's technical lead during the NEC HMS project. The role will support setup of environments, integrations, security configuration, data migration, and technical testing. It will also provide documentation and handover into ongoing system support after the project.
Thus, the role is project-focused initially, eventually transitioning into long-term administration and support of the HMS platform within the IT team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Requirements & Planning:
* Work with NEC technical consultants and Project Team to scope environment setup, access, and security.
* Document CHI's technical requirements for interfaces, APIs, and integrations.
* Contribute to RAID and decision registers on technical items.
Design & Build:
* Support installation and setup of the HMS document management functions and storage areas.
* Configure user access, security, and admin controls.
* Provide input to interface and API specifications and communications modules (e.g. SMS, WhatsApp).
* Assist in aligning technical configuration with CHI's policies and business processes.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
* Support interface and API test planning and execution.
* Validate environment readiness for UAT and cutover.
* Assist with data migration loads, validation, and issue resolution.
* Record and track technical issues via the RAID log.
Deployment & Training:
* Provide technical support during user onboarding and training activities.
* Maintain admin documentation, runbooks, and interface inventories.
* Support configuration of Outlook and other app integrations.
* Contribute to readiness and cutover activities, ensuring technical components are stable at go-live.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Familiarity with databases, APIs, and system configuration.
* Good understanding of Microsoft 365 environment.
* Ability to follow structured testing, document results, and manage technical evidence.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and willingness to work across teams.
* Relevant technical training or certifications desirable (e.g. Microsoft 365, SQL basics, API integrations).
* Evidence of adaptability and capacity to grow into a technical system ownership role.
Desirable Skills:
* IT administration or application support background preferred but not essential.
