About the role
The potential candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting business solutions focused on compliance or SWIFT payments for the banking and finance sector. The candidate will work closely with different stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, implement and post implementation support the solutions for improvement and streamlining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyses & Implementation
Analyse and document business processes and system requirements.
Understand and interpret business requirements and translate them for implementation.
Ensure that the business solution is successfully implemented by defining suitable architecture and integrating the solution into the customer's environment.
Contribute to system or application enhancements, including documentation and testing activities.
System Support & Maintenance
Assist with issue analysis during application testing in non-production environments.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
Participate in standby/on-call duties (24x7) as part of a rotating schedule.
Maintain a proactive and positive attitude in delivering ongoing support, including the use of monitoring and optimization tools.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, including business users and infrastructure teams, to address issues and implement long-term solutions.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of external application support issues.
Provide training and documentation to end users.
What we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in application consulting, business analysis, or IT support in financial compliance, financial industry, or similar business applications will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Eagerness to learn and expand technical expertise.
Strong teamwork, planning and coordination abilities.
Ability and willingness to travel or work independently when required.
Technical Skills
Technical knowledge on Windows operating system, networking, and databases (MS SQL and Oracle).
Basic understanding of security and concepts with PKI infrastructures, SSL, TLS.
Preferred Skills
Comfortable picking up technologies such as network infrastructure, Java, XML, databases, MQ, SFTP, and APIs.
Open to learning Unix/Linux operating systems; adaptability and willingness to explore new environments.
Keen to develop knowledge in application integration, core banking systems, ISO 20022 messaging formats, or financial messaging platforms.
