The Biosensors Group is seeking an experienced Product / Reliability Engineer to join their team in Limerick, Ireland. The group is developing a portfolio of Biosensing products that will support a new business franchise for the Digital Healthcare Business Unit at Analog Devices. These biosensing products target applications such as point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutics. The first product under development is a Multi-Ion Fluidics Sensor for blood.
The selected candidate will develop an understanding of the product and potential failure modes of the sensor system. They will collaborate with the Reliability & Quality groups, define the Reliability Test plan, protocols, and capabilities for the Multi-Ion Fluidics Sensors platform. Additionally, they will support sensor testing and analyze data from the Characterization/Evaluation phase of New Product Development.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with System Architects, Sensor Designers, Reliability & Manufacturing Engineers to define mission profile specifications, understand failure modes, and develop failure/aging models.
* Define and implement Reliability Plans, develop Test Protocols & Procedures, and assist in developing Test Capabilities.
* Analyze data and validate failure mode/aging models.
* Manage the implementation and delivery of Reliability plans.
* Analyze sensor performance versus mission profiles during Reliability Testing.
* Support sensor testing and data analysis during Characterization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biomedical, Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics disciplines.
* 10+ years of relevant experience.
* Ability to work independently and in teams, demonstrating leadership and goal delivery.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Motivated, creative, positive attitude, inquisitive, and capable of tackling multidisciplinary challenges.
* Experience with statistical data analysis using JMP or similar tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired
* Experience with electrochemical or other chemical/biosensors.
* Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards for medical devices.
