Our client is a long-established and highly respected food and beverage manufacturer with a values-driven culture and modern production facilities in Dublin. This is a permanent role reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support maintenance personnel.
Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maximise equipment performance.
Take a hands‑on role in electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical fault‑finding.
Drive a strong safety culture across all engineering activities.
Plan and deliver preventative and planned maintenance programmes.
Manage maintenance scheduling to minimise downtime.
Coordinate contractors and manage spare parts and inventory.
Support continuous improvement and factory upgrade projects.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and bottlenecks.
Support audits and compliance activities.
Assist with resource planning and budget control.
Experience
Time‑served Electrical Maintenance Technician background is essential.
Minimum 2 years' experience in an Engineering Lead or Supervisor role.
Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills.
Experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment (SOPs, GMPs, KPIs).
Trade qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation is highly desirable.
Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, or panel building is an advantage.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
