Advance HE is looking for a collaborative and confident member-focused leader to continue the growth of our membership and commercial work within the higher education sector in the Republic of Ireland and Europe. If you’re passionate about higher education and the work of Advance HE, and you can connect people and problem solve, we want to hear from you.With a degree or equivalent professional experience, you’ll have an excellent understanding of client relationship management and good knowledge of the Irish higher education sector. Your superb business acumen will allow you to generate leads, convert opportunities and secure income using a consultative selling process. You will be highly capable of initiating and conducting strategic conversations with the most senior leaders in higher education, using these to both deliver value to our members and generate new business. You’ll have the good judgement and skill to remedy any client or stakeholder concerns.You’re always ready to apply an innovative, analytical, and nuanced approach as you identify opportunities, solve problems and maximise retention, satisfaction and income generation. You’ll have well developed experience of operating in a range of cultural contexts and adapting your approach accordingly. You’ll be working with a diverse range of colleagues based globally, and a wide range of stakeholders based in Ireland, so we’ll expect you to have outstanding written and oral communication, influencing and negotiating abilities. In addition to being a confident public speaker and presenter, you’ll possess excellent video conferencing and computer skills.This is a full-time (35 hours per week) maternity cover role, that will last 12 months. The salary for this role is €77,493 gross per annum. The ideal candidate would be based in Republic of Ireland, but we are open to applications from the UK.
