Opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to build a new wing of a well-established company working in the area of sustainability within the Mullingar area. The company is looking to rapidly expand and needs a business development manager with the energy, entrepreneurial spirit and experience to make it happen.
Key Responsibilities of Business Development Manager
* Drive sales through inbound and outbound efforts.
* Prospect and qualify leads via cold calling, email, and other channels, adding them to the sales pipeline.
* Leverage prospecting tools and software to boost engagement.
* Build relationships with potential customers in person, identifying and developing new opportunities.
* Track and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
* Play a key role in daily office operations and face-to-face client interactions.
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order processing and truck routing, with strong operational involvement.
* Process online payments, cash, and liaise with Finance to ensure accurate payment handling.
* Oversee debt management, ensuring accounts remain within credit terms — a core responsibility for the sales team.
