Our long-standing reputation speaks to the trust and reliability we've built within the healthcare sector.Job Description:We are working in partnership with Trinity Support & Care Services, who are an innovative organisation providing quality assured, safe, and person centered residential care and outreach support services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities.We are seeking compassionate and motivated Social Care Workers & Team Leaders to join their dedicated teams based in Sligo.You will play a vital role in supporting people to live meaningful, independent lives; ensuring their dignity, rights, and individuality are respected at all times.This is a permanent contract, full time hours (days, nights, sleepovers) Monday-Sunday on shift rotation.Key Responsibilities:Provide person-centred, day-to-day support tailored to individual needsPromote independence, choice, dignity, privacy and human rightsAssist with personal care and daily living activities respectfullyCreate and maintain a safe, clean and supportive environmentEncourage social inclusion and community participationSupport individuals to achieve personal goals and positive outcomesWork in a least-restrictive, enabling way using positive behaviour support approachesProvide clear information to support informed decision-makingAccurately maintain care records, risk assessments and reportsAdminister medication safely and in line with policies and proceduresFollow safeguarding, infection control and food hygiene standardsWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to the organisationEssential Requirements:Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalentRegistered Social Care Worker with CORU (or pending registration)Minimum 2 years' experience in residential/social care settingsExperience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needsExperience leading or supervising staff (Team Lead level)Competent in Microsoft Office and basic IT systemsFull driving licence valid in IrelandLegal right to work in IrelandDesirable Requirements:Experience as a Key Worker or in a leadership roleExperience supporting adults with complex needs or behaviours of concernTraining in Safety Intervention (formerly MAPA) or similar
