About the CompanyClandillon Civil Consulting (CCC) is an Irish civil engineering consultancy that, through its work with many of Ireland's biggest civil engineering contractors, has been involved in some of Ireland's largest recent infrastructure projects including N17N18 Gort to Tuam Motorway, Luas Cross City, N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin and N8 Dunkettle Interchange. CCC is dedicated to providing exceptional services in the execution of infrastructure projects and specialises in applying sound judgement in order to identify opportunities and provide solutions for our Clients.Due to growth within the team, CCC is now looking to recruit a number of Project Engineers, who, in conjunction with working from home, can be based from either our Naas, Navan or Cork offices. The successful candidate will report into senior management and be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects, leading teams and ensuring delivery to the highest standards within the project timeframes. This position may suit someone with previous design experience who is looking to make the next step in their career or a candidate with construction experience in infrastructure projects seeking a role in a consultancy firm.Project Engineer - The roleParticipate in the delivery of linear infrastructure projects (Highways, Greenways, Active Travel Schemes);Develop 3D modelling and digital output in the area of Alignment, Drainage and / or other disciplines;Provide supervision and training to junior members of staff;Actively prioritise workload and manage time (including that of others);Contribute to technical reports that establish design principles or explain designs;Coordinate the development of design drawingsParticipate in internal and external meetings and developing pricing submissions and resource plansAny other duties, as deemed necessary, that fall within the remit and level of the position.What you need - the skills and competenciesDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification Previous experience in geometry design OR pavement design OR Ancillary infrastructure designWorking towards Chartership reportCirca years' engineering experienceCivil 3D, MX Roads, In Roads experience and experience in geometric design (or similar)Civil 3D, WinDES, Flow experience and experience in drainage design (or similar)Experience in working as part of multi-disciplinary teamsAble to multi-task confidently, with excellent management and organisational skills requiredGood communication skills both written and verbalTeam player with the ability to work on own initiative, as requiredConfident in using all Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of and demonstrable commitment to health and safety legislation and requirementsFull Driving License (preferable)Current right to work in the Republic of IrelandWhat you getAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate which includes the following.Competitive Salary commensurate with skills and experienceAnnual Leave commencing at 22 days per annum pro rata and increasing over time to a maximum of 25 days.Company Pension Scheme with employer contributionsAnnual performance-based bonusFlexible working arrangements including working from home for part of the weekPayment of professional membership fees and training requirementsOther benefits as per Employee HandbookCCC is an equal opportunities employer and encourages continuous professional development, creativity and flexibility.
