Job Title: Senior Android Engineer (Contract)
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid - Office Visits Required Once Per Week)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain Android applications, ensuring high-quality code and performance.
2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end engineers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
3. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
4. Contribute to the overall technical architecture and roadmap of the Android platform.
5. Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices in mobile development.
6. Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
1. Strong experience in Android development, with proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
2. Proven track record of building and delivering successful Android applications, from concept to release.
3. Solid understanding of Android SDK, libraries, and tools (e.g., Android Studio, Gradle).
4. Experience with modern mobile development architectures, including MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
6. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
7. Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude.
9. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable:
1. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
2. Experience with Jetpack libraries (e.g., Navigation, LiveData, Room).
3. Knowledge of Android Jetpack Compose is a plus.
