Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee our client’s busy retail stores in the Leinster region.We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in multi-site management or senior store operations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the performance of multiple stores in the Leinster region, ensuring operational excellence and consistency across all locations
* Lead, mentor, and support store managers to achieve sales, performance, and customer service targets
* Analyse store KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive growth and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures, including health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with senior management to align regional operations with overall business objectives
* Drive initiatives focused on customer experience, staff development, and cost control
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members across the region
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximise profitability
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
Requirements:
* Experience as an Area Manager, Senior Store Manager, or similar role within a large retail group
* Proven ability to manage multiple sites, teams, and operational priorities
* Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and analysing KPIs
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
* Ability to travel within the Leinster region and occasionally nationwide
* A relevant qualification in management, retail, or business is advantageous
