Infineon is a leader in automotive semiconductor innovation. We are building a new team in Cork to work on our Automotive Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) products for applications in battery management, smart sensing and human machine interfaces (HMI).
We are looking for applications from candidates with analog design, digital design, digital verification, mixed signal verification, chip level integration, project management and ISO safety requirements experience. In this group you will be part of a small, agile team working together on taking customer requirements and implementing them into the next generation of Infineon automotive products. This team will work closely with and complement our existing experienced PSoC teams in the US, Japan and India.

In your new role you will:
Understand analog and mixed-signal designs, work withspice or models to verify analog circuitswith complex System Verilog (SV) based mixed-signal test benches
Execute test plans;develop tests and debugtest failures to fully verify mixed-signal designs
Analyze and document simulationresults, use scripting languages to improve efficiency
Actively participate in cross functional collaborationwith design teams to ensure a successful product delivery; work with post-Silicon teams to bring up and assist in validation testing
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Master's degree in electrical Engineeringand 5-7 years of work experienceorBachelor's degreeand 7-9 years of work experience
Solid understanding of basics of analog and digital design, able to describe circuit behavior and functionality
Experience in simulating circuits in spice simulators, debugging schematics, plotting and analyzing waveforms
Demonstrated ability to read and write code in Verilog or System Verilog, use of digital simulators for verifying simple designs
Work experience withmixed-signal test benches, SVA, functional coverage, constrained randomization and UPF
Basic knowledge of any HDL for modeling such asVerilog-AMS; SV-RNM is highly desirable, UVM knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of C, python, Tcl, Perletc. for developing test content and scripts
Knowledge ofAutomotive Functional safety concepts, ISO 26262 qualification experience is a plus
Self-motivated with the initiative toseek constant improvements in the verificationmethodologies
Possessstrong initiative, analytical/problem solving skills, teamworking skills and ability to multitask
