Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Civils Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing civil engineering projects from conceptualization to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop conceptual layouts and design reports for civil engineering projects.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure civil works integrate with process, mechanical, and electrical requirements.
* Conduct site visits to supervise sub-contractors and record relevant SI information.
* Prepare and review HSQE documentation for site work, including RAMS, SSWP's, permits, etc.
* Source quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors and provide input to cost estimation for target cost submissions and value engineering workshops.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Understanding of civil engineering principles and their application to water and wastewater infrastructure.
* Familiarity with UE design standards, codes, and guidance.
* Awareness of geotechnical considerations (foundations, ground conditions, settlement, etc).
* Technical design skills, including CAD/BIM proficiency.
* Collaboration and coordination skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
* Effective communication and risk management skills.
