Key Role: Litigation Support Specialist
Job Overview:
This is a critical office-based position that requires an experienced professional to provide comprehensive secretarial support and assistance to partner and other fee earners.
* Providing administrative support and assistance to senior legal professionals on a daily basis.
* Dictation transcription, email management, document preparation, filing, and archiving.
* Liaising with clients, responding to correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
* Other general administration duties as required.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the team with high-level secretarial services including dictation typing, email management, and document preparation.
* Managing filing and archiving systems to ensure efficient retrieval of documents.
* Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues via telephone, email, or in-person meetings.
* Ensuring confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Maintaining a high level of organization and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Excellent typing skills (60wpm minimum) and strong computer proficiency.
* Experience working with case management systems and digital dictation technology.
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a litigation secretary or similar role.
* Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be based in our Dublin office, working full-time hours. The role requires a high level of physical and mental energy, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
