Equestrian Training Programme Facilitator
Seeking a skilled professional to lead the Equestrian Training Programme, providing individualized facilitation and support for students with additional needs.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored training sessions, focusing on equine skills and QQI modules, in accordance with program timetables and learner needs.
* Develop, plan, implement, and review therapeutic interventions to support learners with social communication, sensory integration, emotional regulation, and anxiety management.
* Collaborate with the ETP facilitation team to co-deliver QQI training modules at level 4, ensuring alignment with SOLAS and QQI standards.
* Maintain records and contribute to annual evaluations, highlighting learner engagement and success rates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Achievable Outcomes:
* Proven experience in programme facilitation, especially with young adult learners having additional needs.
* Thorough understanding of Non-Intellectual Disability (ID) Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), including Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism, in supporting social interactions, communication styles, and repetitive behaviors.
* Mentoring and empowering learners with additional needs, promoting positive engagement and person-centered decision-making.
* Facilitating person-centered planning and behavior support for individuals with additional needs.
