We're looking for an
Group Financial Accountant (15 Month FTC)
Based in Dublin, reporting to the AVP, Group Finance and Reporting, the role is responsible for supporting the group accounting function, focusing on the group close process, SEC reporting and the oversight of the accounting systems for Hamilton on a global basis. The Group Financial Accountant is a key role which will work across our accounting and technology functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to build valuable experience with a best-in-class finance function.
What you will do
* Assist with the group's SEC quarterly reporting and consolidation process
* Assist with the quarterly group close planning and roll forwards
* Assist with the preparation of group financials and supporting workbooks
* Reconciling the group eliminations and consolidation business units
* Liaise with external auditors as required
* Supporting the finance team with group processes and training
* Support the SUN General Ledger system. Setting up new General Ledger codes and analysis codes, reviewing FX rates and opening and closing periods
* Support in the analysis and implementation of process improvements
* Other ad hoc projects as required
What you require for the role
* Recently qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* US GAAP experience desirable
* Proficient user of accounting ledgers (SUN desirable)
* Workiva experience desirable
* Strong user of MS Excel
* An ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* High levels of attention to detail
