Location: The Rose Hotel, Dan Spring Road,
The role of F&B Assistant in the Park Restaurant is a busy one. Your working hours vary from breakfast/lunch and dinner. You also sometimes will be required to work for banquets/weddings.
The Main Duties Of The Role Include
To ensure Restaurant and Banqueting areas are set up to the agreed standard
To ensure that the Restaurant and Banqueting areas are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times
To ensure that all Restaurant and Banqueting equipment is kept clean and tidy and stored appropriately
To ensure that linen is used, stored and removed from the F&B areas as per agreed standard
To ensure that adequate mis en place is completed for each shift
To provide full service of food and drinks to all guests in the Restaurant and Banqueting areas
To ensure that guest bills are correct and to ensure that all items served are included on the guest bill
To ensure that the pantries are kept clean and free from trays / glasses / crockery
To ensure that the stillroom is kept clean and tidy at all times
To ensure that the glass wash area is kept clean and tidy at all times
To ensure that all fridges and food storage areas are kept clean and tidy and within HACCP regulations
To ensure that cleaning records are completed on a daily basis
To ensure that all buffets are fully stocked at all times
To attend in house training and departmental meetings
About The Role
The Rose Hotel is a very busy 4 star hotel located in Tralee, Co Kerry.
The Park Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Shifts in the restaurant can be either a breakfast, breakfast + lunch, lunch and dinner, dinner or split shift.
Working 5 days with 2 days off
Rostered to work up to 39 hours a week
The role of F&B Assistant is a face paced role and will require the successful candidate to be able to work under pressure, have an excellent level of the English language, to be part of the team and to be flexible in their role.

Required Criteria
To ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel.
To ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained.
To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests.
To ensure you are familiar with safe keeping, cash handling, credit policy of the Hotel.
To maximize revenue in all F&B departments by actively upselling to guests.
To ensure that guest bills are correct and to ensure that all items served are included on the guest bill.
Must have previous experience in a similar role
