Description
There is currently one permanent full-time vacancy available in the Radiology Department at Naas General Hospital.
A panel may be formed from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of both full-time and part-time durations may be filled.

* Planning, coordinating, and implementing undergraduate Radiography clinical education in the Radiology Department.
* Delivering a quality, patient-focused radiographic service in a caring manner.
* Assisting in the daily operation of the service and supporting ongoing radiographer education within the department.
* Supporting continuous radiographer education in the clinical setting.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, and Experience
o Candidates must:
o Be registered with the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by CORU.
o Or, satisfy conditions under Section 91 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005, with proof of application for registration.
o Have at least 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification clinical experience.
o Possess the necessary knowledge and ability to perform the duties of the role.
2. Annual Registration
o Maintain annual registration with CORU and confirm registration via the Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
3. Health
o Be fully capable of performing the duties and in good health to provide regular, efficient service.
4. Character
o Must be of good character.
*Note: Section 91 candidates are those who qualified before October 31, 2013, and have been engaged in practice in Ireland for at least 2 years between October 31, 2008, and October 30, 2013. They must have applied to CORU before October 31, 2015.
Post Specific Requirements
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and educating Radiography students, along with relevant administrative duties.
