We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead multidisciplinary design teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status, and a minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and active travel schemes. They will also have experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams, developing and managing project budgets, and liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of projects, mentoring and managing more junior Project Managers, supervising and guiding senior and junior team members, planning and overseeing design work, preparing technical reports and tender documentation, coordinating effectively with other members of the project team, and ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading multidisciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
">
2. Managing a portfolio of projects, maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing communications across assigned projects.
">
3. Mentoring and managing more junior Project Managers within the Highways and Active Travel Sector.
">
4. Supervising and guiding senior and junior team members within the Highways and Active Travel Sector.
">
5. Planning and overseeing design work in collaboration with Engineering Discipline Leads and Technicians.
">
6. Preparing technical reports and tender documentation.
">
7. Coordinating effectively with other members of the project and wider infrastructure team.
">
8. Ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures, management systems and all relevant health and safety legislation.

Requirements:

9. A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status.
">
10. A minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway and active travel schemes, including the delivery of schemes in Ireland in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines and/or NTA Project Approval Guidelines.

11. Experience in the delivery of design and build projects is desirable.
">
12. Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary design teams.

13. Strong experience in liaising with clients, external stakeholders and sub-consultants.

14. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets.

15. Energetic, self-motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

16. Capable of working independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.

17. Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings as required.
