Digital Account Executive - German Speaking
Join our SME&C team to support a dedicated set of German Mittelstand customers, driving their digital transformation through best‑in‑class engagements and partner collaboration. This flexible role offers up to 50% remote work.
Responsibilities
* Customer Engagement
o Serve as central point for strong customer relationships, advocating within Microsoft.
o Identify decision makers and map customer organization using partners and V‑teams.
o Ensure continuity, monitor satisfaction metrics, and proactively manage escalation.
* Account Management
o Consult on challenges and provide solutions that Microsoft can solve.
o Strategically plan sales territory, set standards and priorities, and engage decision makers for long‑term planning.
o Drive cloud adoption through cohesive plans, upsell, co‑sell, and renewals to maximize outcomes.
o Accelerate customer cloud strategy.
* Maintain Product, Solution & Industry Expertise
o Build and maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft’s product landscape and industry solutions, aligning with customer priorities.
* Orchestration
o Coordinate internal specialized resources to deliver solution‑based engagement.
o Leverage partners for optimal customer solutions during transformation journeys.
Qualifications
* Fluency in German (written and spoken).
* Demonstrated sales and negotiation experience with year‑over‑year growth.
* Either:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, IT, Marketing, or related field plus sales experience, or
o Master’s degree in Business Management, IT, Marketing, or related field plus sales experience.
o Equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
* Strategic thinking & execution – ability to develop and execute sales/business strategy and build strong relationships.
* Purposeful Planner & Executor – deliver business impact with intentional planning, clear coaching, and goal attainment.
* Disciplined Operator – excel in pipeline, forecasting and territory budgeting.
