Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Roof Truss Design Specialist located in the Greater Dublin area. The specialist will be responsible for designing structural roof trusses, preparing technical drawings, performing analysis and research for customized solutions, and collaborating closely with the architecture and manufacturing teams. The role also involves ensuring designs meet energy efficiency standards and adhere to quality and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and techniques
* Knowledge of Architecture and an understanding of structural design principles
* Skills in Graphic Design and creating professional, detailed graphics
* Research skills to develop efficient and innovative solutions
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Experience in construction, engineering, or a related field is a plus
* Exposure to Truss Design Software a plus (GN, Mitek, Wolf)
