Description
We are seeking a Relief Chef to cover staff absences, holidays, and vacant kitchen positions across our centres. This is a flexible, weekday role (Monday–Friday, no evenings or weekends) ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working in a child‑centred environment.
About The Role
You will prepare large quantities of nutritious, child‑friendly meals, following set menus and food safety standards to ensure consistency and quality across centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Cook large quantities of healthy meals and snacks for children.
* Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Follow allergen and dietary guidelines.
* Support stock management and deliveries.
* Work closely with Centre Managers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
* Experience cooking for large groups or in catering environments.
* Minimum HACCP Level 2 certification.
* Full driving license (essential) and flexibility to travel between our centres.
* Availability for varying weekday hours based on cover needs.
* Strong organisation skills and a passion for preparing healthy meals for children.
