We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial schedules, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to month-end close and ensure timely preparation of management accounts.
* Manage and update financial schedules such as accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
* Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across accounts.
* Support audit readiness and contribute to annual financial statement preparation.
* Prepare and file VAT and corporation tax returns in line with group deadlines.
* Oversight of day-to-day operations in core finance areas including payables, receivables, and banking.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
* At least 2 years industry experience in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent Excel skills.
* Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across departments.
