The Opportunity This is a key leadership role within the organisation, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The Manufacturing Manager will take full ownership of fabrication and production activities on site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of stainless-steel vessels to a demanding pharmaceutical client base. You will play a central role in driving operational excellencebalancing on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and continuous improvementwhile fostering a high-performing, engaged manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all manufacturing operations, with a focus on stainless steel vessel fabrication, welding, finishing, and assembly Ensure production schedules are met through effective resource planning, staffing alignment, and workflow optimisation Drive a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability across the manufacturing floor Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards Monitor and improve production performance through KPIs, metrics, and lean manufacturing principles Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimise output Candidate Profile We are seeking a hands-on and driven manufacturing leader with experience in fabrication or high- volume regulated production or precisions engineering environments. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role (ideally within fabrication, stainless steel, or pharma-related industries) Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and workflow optimisation Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Experience driving performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing principles Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams effectively Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment Desirable: Third-level qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. pharma, biotech, food processing, precision engineering) Familiarity with stainless steel fabrication, welding standards, or pressure vessel manufacturing Why Apply?
