Working Hours:
20 hours per week
Working Pattern:
8:00am – 4:00pm on Thursday and Friday
8:00am – 4:00pm every second Wednesday
Salary Scale:
€38,333 – €55,244 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent).
Actual salary will be calculated on a
pro rata basis
in line with contracted hours.
Responsibilities
Support individuals to build independence and enhance daily living skills
, promoting autonomy in personal care, communication, decision-making, and routine activities.
Facilitate participation in community, creative, and social activities
, encouraging inclusion, skill development, and active engagement in meaningful experiences.
Promote confidence, overall wellbeing, and the development of meaningful relationships
, fostering social connection, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging.
Requirements
CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential).
QQI Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Social Care or a related discipline, and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration.
Strong communication and IT skills.
Full, clean manual driving licence.
Experience working within disability services (desirable).
Knowledge of the New Directions framework (advantageous).
